"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…It is the Lord Christ you are serving." – Colossians 3:23-24

In the Old Testament king David singled out the Levites to perform services in the temple and to assist the priests. They were to “do the work for the service of the house of the Lord […] assist the sons of Aaron”. In the New Testament there were also people who were responsible for the “ministry of the Word” to develop without impediment so that the apostles could be freed out from having to deal with absolutely all matters. Nowadays it would seem inconceivable to imagine functioning of the church without the faithful and quiet ministry of those who tend to such matters as seating arrangement during services, rooms being spic and span and fit to be used, making sure that children have friendly and safe surroundings where they can learn about God.

Currently, the necessity of renting the facilities for church meetings is connected with having to prepare and clean out rooms before and after services, week after week, month after month…It is a kind of difficulty which requires persistence, involvement and the workings of many hands. Thanks to the kindness of our hosts, small groups can meet on Sunday mornings to efficiently prepare all rooms for the service and Sunday School classes for children. All those ready to meet this challenge are welcome!
